14 November 2006

CIMA (The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) has announced that its 48,000 UK-based students will now be able to apply for the National Union of Students (NUS) Associate Card.  The student discount card offers students a wide range of special offers such as reduced mobile phone tariffs, discounts at clothing and music shops, and insurance and travel offers. The card will be available to all CIMA students over 18 who are living in the UK.

In order to apply for the card, students will need to provide evidence of their student status, as well and their name and CIMA ID reference number. Further information can be obtained by visiting the new student benefits pages at www.cimaglobal.com/studentbenefits.

Robert Jelly, Director of Education, commented “CIMA is very pleased to be offering this benefit to all its students living in the UK. CIMA is committed to supporting its students with products and services which will assist them in their professional and everyday lives.”
