CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is delighted to announce the appointment of Victor Smart as Head of Corporate Communications at its global headquarters in London.
Victor Smart, previously Head of Media and Public Affairs at the Audit Commission, will oversee CIMA’s global external and internal communications, including its award winning website and monthly magazine Financial Management, one of the largest circulation business magazines in the UK.
Charles Tilley, Chief Executive at CIMA, said:

Prior to his role as Head of Media and Public Affairs at the Audit Commission (2003 – 2008), Victor Smart held various editorial posts including editor of Management Today, editor of Public Finance and political correspondent at the Observer.
Victor’s broadcast experience includes frequent appearances on CNN International, BBC World, News 24, BBC Five Live, Radio 4, Deutsche Welle etc. His TV documentaries include All the Presidency’s Men for Dispatches, Channel 4.
Victor Smart’s academic awards include a BA(Hons) from Oxford University and an MA from Sussex University
