The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Chartered Institute for Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) are currently in discussion regarding possible consolidation. The Councils of all three Institutes have agreed to further consultation before voting on whether to take detailed proposals to members.
As part of this process CIMA is inviting its members and students to a series of meetings which will be addressed by Professor Roland Kaye, CIMA president, and Charles Tilley, CIMA chief executive. This is your opportunity to find out more about these discussions, the consultation process, and timetable. The dates and venues for these events are listed below.
CIMA members will be able to ask questions about the proposals and CIMA will be collecting questionnaires in order to obtain feedback.
If you are a CIMA member and would like to attend one of these meetings, please email your name, address, e-mail address and daytime telephone number to mark.pearce@cimaglobal.com (UK events only, individual overseas contacts are listed below).
