We join IoD to hold first breakfast briefing, on governance

CIMA and the Institute of Directors (IoD) are introducing a new and dynamic way of ensuring you are kept up to date on important topics in the business world – breakfast briefings.

On your way to work, stop off for two hours and enjoy an extensive breakfast and quality coffee while re-examining your corporate governance practices. Our first breakfast briefing will also enable you to determine how much your organisation could benefit from a change in approach.

Gavin Grant, director, Deutsche Bank AG, is our guest speaker and will cover the following key areas:

  • the materiality of corporate governance: does it pay to be good?
  • quantifying corporate governance risk: UK company examples
  • the rise of the activist investor: friend or foe for listed companies?

Following this Patricia Peter, corporate governance executive, IoD, will conduct a question and answer session.

This is a fantastic way to ensure you are up to date while not sacrificing too many valuable work or personal hours. The breakfast briefing will be held on 29 November, from 8am to 10am at CIMA, 26 Chapter Street, London, SW1P 4NP. The price is £65 + VAT.

Book now to guarantee your place. Email mastercourses@cimaglobal.com or call +44 (0) 20 8849 2244 (for provisional bookings only).
