Awards entrants are one step closer to winning
Entrants to the CIMA Financial Management Awards 2006, in association with the Financial Times, were recently able to find out if they had been short listed for this year’s awards. The short list for each category is now available on the awards website.
CIMA’s annual awards ceremony, which recognises leading figures and organisations in financial management, will take place on the 29 November.
The host for the evening is Jeremy Vine, BBC radio presenter and speech broadcaster of the year. The ceremony acknowledges a full spectrum of those in the management accountancy sector whose knowledge and determination develop our profession. The eleven categories range from TOPCIMA Success, which recognises the highest student TOPCIMA mark this year, to Lifetime Contribution to Management Accounting.
This year’s awards dinner is being held at the Riverbank Park Plaza, overlooking Westminster and the Thames, where guests will join a champagne reception. This will be followed by a prestigious awards dinner, including the announcement of the winners, and an evening of celebration. With key industry organisations attending it is also a perfect networking opportunity.
Tables are on sale now and can be booked by downloading a form from the awards website or by calling +44 (0)20 8849 2265.
