CPD webcast to be launched soon
As part of our support for members, we have been keeping you up to date with developments in products and services in our CIMA Professional Development (CPD) Centre.
Nigel Race, CIMA’s CPD manager, has also been attending UK branch events giving a presentation on CPD. These explain the new scheme and how the monitoring process will work. They also show how to use some of the online resources. Each presentation has been well received and attended. So to meet future demand, as well as that of our overseas members, the presentation has been developed into an interactive webcast.
From mid October all members visiting the CPD Centre will be able to watch the 25 minute webcast which is sponsored by CIMA Publishing. The webcast includes:
- background to the introduction of the scheme
- an explanation of our CPD policy and requirements
- information on monitoring and recording your CPD
- more about supporting products and services available to you as a member
- brief demonstrations of some of the CPD Solutions including the CPD Planner, Harvard ManageMentor, CIMA Inform and Business Source Corporate.
The webcast has been designed to deliver all the information in a flexible and accessible way:
- watch Nigel Race, CPD manager, present
- watch the accompanying presentation slides and download them
- check your understanding using online tests
- download a copy of the transcript, and
- access chapters of the presentation to view specific parts or to revisit a topic later.
