Zambia conference will focus on wealth creation


The Zambia office of CIMA Southern Africa is to host the 2007 Regional Conference.

The conference, to be held on 8-11 August in Livingstone, will bring together high-profile international speakers who have participated in creating wealth. They will cover topics including:

  • higher education/strategic alliances and wealth creation
  • the impact of globalisation on regional entrepreneurship
  • regional integration and corporate competitiveness
  • creating a world-class organisation
  • increasing capital flows to Zambia in the context of the Fifth
    National Development Plan
  • the role of the stock exchange in wealth creation: experiences from the Botswana and Colombo (Sri Lanka) stock exchanges.

Conference fees

Reservations with payments made by 4 June 2007:

  • K3,900,000 / US$950 for local delegates with accommodation and meals at the Zambezi Sun Hotel
  • K3,750,000 / US$915 for international delegates with accommodation and meals at the Zambezi Sun Hotel
  • K2,700,000 / US$660 without accommodation.

Reservations with payments made from 5 June to 1 August 2007:

  • K4,200,000 / US$1,000 for local delegates with accommodation and meals at the Zambezi Sun Hotel
  • K3,750,000 / US$915 for international delegates with accommodation and meals at the Zambezi Sun Hotel
  • K2,850,000 / US$695 without accommodation.

You are advised to book and pay no later than 10 July as accommodation at the Zambezi Sun is limited.
